Thanks for another great find! Did he say that all units had seen combat already? I don't know why, but that shakes me up a little. War. I know it's WAR. It's just a little more real sometimes than others. Thanks again and God Bless,
Lisa
Today I spent the day steeped in tradition as I celebrated my religion's new year. One part of the celebration is to dip an apple slice in some honey for a sweet new year. My brother stood up as we were doing this at the dinner table, we numbered about 20, and dipped an apple for David and the rest of the 2ndSCR soldiers for their sweet return home and the unfolding yet again of the Dragoons flag in Vilseck.
There is no army like ours and our soldiers will return to us safe and sound.
M- I think I'm ok.
Lisa - yes ma'am, that is what I heard him say..."all units have seen contact already.."
Hope you and the support group are doing well. It's great to have the insight on whats happening..or lately...what's not happening ;-)
Thanks for sharing!

He finished by saying Not to worry, they will bring them home safe and sound. There we have it. We can quit all this worry, we have word from the guy in charge over there all will be ok.
Thanks M for all the time and effort you spend keeping us informed!!
