Dragoons Update...

Happy Monday! I trust your Veterans Day weekend was a good one - maybe you even heard from your warrior? We spoke with Chris on the phone last week and he is doing well. His voice was strong and sure and communicated that he and his team are in a battle rhythm. As with all of our warriors he is staying busy and taking care of business - but physically and emotionally he is doing well. I pray that you can say the same regarding your warrior...and yourself.

As we kick-off another week with our warriors on the ground in Baghdad, here is an update from the leadership team of the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment on their current activities. It's the next best thing to sitting in a conference room and receiving the brief in person. Give it a view and tell me your thoughts - what do you think?

The context of the video is...Colonel John RisCassi, 74th Colonel of the Regiment, and Regimental Command Sergeant Major Victor Martinez, 74th Sergeant Major of the Regiment, currently deployed in Baghdad, Iraq, with the 2nd Cavalry Stryker Regiment, sent a video message to those attending the 2007 Second Cavalry Association Reunion in the Washington, D.C. area November 7-11.

Enjoy the update and be encouraged - every day is a day closer to having our warriors home.

Chris, I love you and remember...every day. Rock on and be safe!

You're right, it was like being at the press conference. Thanks for finding and sharing. It's nice to hear that the hard work of our warriors is appreciated. We know it is but hearing it is different.

Marti - I agree - to hear the view from the top of the 2nd SCR is good. I trust they will continue to provide these updates as times allows.

The flow of information on progress...is so important to all of us with warriors in the fight in Iraq.

I am not one who likes to guess about these things...
