47 Out of 51...

I had started this blog before the information in the Team of Fallen Angels became available. I stopped it to honor our warriors...

Here is the finished blog I started Friday night...

Given the intensity of the last few days for all of us with warriors in the fight, tonight's blog will be simple. Pictures of the 2nd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment operating in the Baghdad area, 3rd Squadron operating in the Bread Basket and a recap of the airstrike on Arab Jabour, a Sunni rural area on the southern outskirts of Baghdad.

I think we could all use a little breathing room, don't you? I am mentally fatigued at this time and I am not ashamed to admit it...but I am hanging in there. Each day I press on because it is a day closer to having them home. How are you doing?

You will have to read the article, 21 Qaeda Fighters Killed in US Air Blitz: Iraq Sheikh, to understand the title of my blog tonight. Also, I have embedded a video from Reuters that was shared by the info hounds. It summarizes the early days of Operation Phantom Phoenix.

First the video...

Now some current pictures...2nd and 3rd Squadron operations...check the faces. See any of your loved ones?

Enjoy!
