Evening...
We had a short, two line email from Chris...he is well but extremely busy - 2nd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment is taking care of business. Enough said. Those words eased our mind and helped us to know that all is well. Continue to pray for Chris and the entire 2nd SCR Regiment...
On to the rest of the photos we had developed off the two cameras Chris sent from Iraq. Most of these are of Christmas as experienced by the 2-2 in Baghdad, Iraq.
For my good buddies Bob and Steve...check out the first photo below of the makeshift ping pong table at the 2-2 SCR COP in Baghdad. Not bad, eh? What do you think? Could you play on it and compete? Game on?

Thanks for the look into how our warriors spent Christmas. In the photo that asks the question, "What the....." It is a paper doll called Flat Stanley. It is a project that students do after reading a book of the same title. They then make Stanleys and the children send them to people they know and ask them to take pictures with Stanley. After Stanley comes back he is placed on a map and the class tracks his travels. How do I know you ask? I have done this project with my students for many years. The kids love it and Stanley always travels to interesting and unique places.
